They explained that veterans of the Great Patriotic War will hold personal parades at their place of residence, and the remaining events on the occasion of Victory Day are planned to be held in the region in the fall.

Earlier it became known that the Victory Parade on June 24 will not be held in Perm, Belgorod, Kursk, Saransk, Yakutsk, Penza, Yaroslavl, Vologda, Chelyabinsk, Pskov, Orel, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Nizhny Tagil and Simferopol.

The first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense Hero of Russia Andrei Krasov, in an interview with the NSN, commented on the cancellation of the parade in several regions of Russia.
