Two brothers aged 35 and 40 were tried on Tuesday in immediate appearance before the criminal court of Rennes following a burglary on the premises of the association Envie 35. The facts took place Thursday evening rue de la Donelière, north of Rennes. At around 10:30 p.m., police from the anti-crime brigade located the two suspects in a vehicle and chased them to the Travelers' Field, located on Gros-Malhon Avenue.

On the spot, the police managed to arrest the older of the two brothers. While the latter was handcuffed, his brother came out of the caravan in a rage where he was hiding in an attempt to free him. Repelled by tear gas, the cadet left home before returning with a hunting rifle which he pointed at the police for several minutes.

The individual was finally arrested Friday morning at the camp after the intervention of fifty police, including men from the Raid. At the hearing, the older brother acknowledged his involvement in the burglary. He was sentenced to two years in prison, reports Ouest-France .

The youngest received a three-year sentence for threatening the police with his weapon.
