On Wednesday, February 26 at 7:30 p.m., a man shot Esther Escobar, a 40-year-old Paraguayan with four daughters, in the temple in the middle of Calle Virgen de los Reyes in Ciudad Lineal. Five days later, the alleged murderer turned himself in at the Albacete police station after learning that the homicide agents had him cornered since they had numerous images of him at the crime scene the same day it was committed. "I want to turn myself in, I am the one who has killed a woman in Madrid and they are looking for me ," the man confessed to the police, who also hid two star pistols, gun holsters and several chargers in his car.
