Already opposed to the holding of the US Open, the Australian Nick Kyrgios attacked virulently in a tweet to the president of ATP, Andrea Gaudenzi, after the announcement Wednesday of the resumption on August 14 of the tennis season, interrupted by the coronavirus.

"Yours, man. Did you really take care of the players during this period? Damn. Seriously. And are you interested in collaborating with us, potato?" Tweeted the whimsical 40th world.

An exit in response to a press release from ATP published earlier announcing the resumption of the season on August 14, "fruit of a real collaborative effort (note: between the body and the tournaments) according to Gaudenzi." We hope add more events as the situation evolves, "he said.

In recent days, Kyrgios was offended by the maintenance of the US Open at the end of August despite the health conditions linked to the coronavirus pandemic and the events sparked by the death of George Floyd in the United States, lambasting "selfishness" ATP.
