This is reported by RIA Novosti.

A spokesman for the Russian Consulate in New York, Alexei Topolsky, said that "the registration went through as usual, and those who arrived at the registration were on board."

He said that earlier, officers of the American law enforcement agencies brought Lisov to JFK airport, the Russian checked in for the flight and headed for the landing zone, accompanied by members of the American law enforcement agencies.

Topolsky said that Lisov "was dressed in inconspicuous clothes, there were no handcuffs on him."

“There was a mask on his face. Apparently, he was glad and pleased that he was returning to his homeland. He looked like a person who is glad that he is returning home, ”the consular spokesman added.

Earlier, Lisov’s lawyer Arkady Bukh said that the Russian programmer will be deported to Aeroflot’s export flight in the near future.

In November 2019, a court in the United States sentenced Lisov, extradited from Spain, to four years in prison.

On December 1, 2017, it was reported that the Spanish government approved the extradition of Lisov to the United States. The programmer was detained at the request of the United States in Spain in January 2017.
