Will there be any Swedish strawberries for midsummer? The answer is yes, but there will be no larger number of ripe red strawberries at Värpeby berries in Kolbäck. And it doesn't usually be either.
"Our customers come and pick during the holidays and that's when the berries should be ripe," says Simon Säfström, strawberry grower.
This year it will also be sure that visitors follow the guidelines of the Public Health Authority regarding corona.
- Those who are at risk and those who are over 70 may come an hour earlier and pick up so that there will not be so many people at the same time. We may limit the number to a maximum of two people per family in order to reduce the number, says Camilla Säfström, strawberry grower.
