Kyrgyzstan voted to approve Boronov as prime minister

  Xinhua News Agency, Bishkek, June 17 (Reporter Guan Jianwu Nurran) The Kyrgyz Parliament voted on the 17th to approve Kubadik Bolonov as the new prime minister.

  The Kyrgyz Parliament met on the same day and approved Boronov's appointment as prime minister with 105 votes in favor and two votes against, and passed the new cabinet composition and government governance program. After President Kyrgyzstan's signature, Boronov will officially take office.

  Boronov is 56 years old and was born in the Uzgen region of Osh State in southern Kyrgyzstan. He had previously held positions such as Kyrgyzstan’s first deputy prime minister and minister of emergency.

  Boronov said in a parliamentary speech on the 16th that the composition of the cabinet has not changed significantly except for the positions of chairman of the National Information Technology and Communications Commission and director of the government office. The Kyrgyz parliamentary elections will be held as scheduled on October 4, and he will work until the establishment of the new parliament.

  Kyrgyzstan’s former prime minister Abul Gaziev announced his resignation on the 15th. The ruling coalition of Kyrgyzstan elected Boronov as the new prime minister on the 16th.
