In total, 1 806 terrorist crimes were registered in Russia last year, which is 7.6% more than in 2018.

The report notes that the analysis of statistics and the situation in the regions indicates the persistence of a high level of terrorist threats.

Earlier, the director of the FSB, chairman of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee, Alexander Bortnikov, said that 159 terrorist attacks had been prevented in Russia over 10 years.
