Tuesday, on the sidelines of the caregivers' demonstration, at the Invalides, in Paris, a nurse was arrested and placed in police custody. The images showing his arrest, in which the nurse is seen with a bloody face, have gone viral. But what really happened?

The images have gone viral: we see a woman in a white blouse, her face bleeding, embarked by the police. The scene takes place on Tuesday on the Esplanade des Invalides, in Paris, after the caregivers' demonstration degenerated in Paris. Farida, a 52-year-old nurse, is currently in police custody. The deputies of Insoumise France demand its release. But what really happened during his arrest?

According to several amateur videos, this nurse was first isolated from the other demonstrators, pulled by the strap of her backpack by a police officer. The 50-something is then kept on the ground by several squatting agents. The scene lasts two minutes. We hear him screaming several times: "I have asthma, I want my ventoline please". Without getting an immediate reaction from the police officers. She was then handcuffed and taken, bloody front, at full speed, to the nearby Parisian 7th arrondissement police station for treatment and placement in custody.

Police will file complaint against nurse

A few minutes before, as evidenced by images of BFMTV and other amateur videos published on social networks, we see this same nurse repeatedly throwing projectiles towards the police and making them fingers of honor . This is what justified his arrest for contempt, rebellion and violence against the police.

A police officer in charge during this law enforcement operation will file a complaint against this nurse. She is currently on hearing and the Paris prosecutor's office specifies that the investigations are still ongoing. No decision is taken at this stage on the outcome of his police custody.
