The Houthi group announced the implementation of their air force by what they described as a "wide operation targeting sensitive airplanes and armories and sensitive Saudi military targets in Khamis Mushait in Asir," while the Saudi-Emirati coalition announced the interception and destruction of a ballistic missile and booby-trapped parades launched by the Houthis.

The Houthi military spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sari, said, "The conducting air force carried out a massive operation on the aircraft shelters, armories, and other sensitive military targets in Khamis Mushait yesterday evening."

He explained that the operation “was carried out with five K-2 مس drones, confirming that the injury was accurate.” He indicated that this comes “in response to the massive escalation of the aggression and its continuous and successive massacres.”
