  The data in the "Annual Report" shows that the housing provident fund industry actively serves the non-public economy, and the proportion of employees in the non-public economy continues to increase, and the non-public economy accounts for nearly half of the employees. In 2019, the number of employees benefited from the housing provident fund system continued to grow. There were 3.224 million units of housing provident fund paid for the year and 148.138 million paid employees, an increase of 10.57% and 3.08% respectively over the previous year. Among the employees of the national housing provident fund deposits, non-public-owned economies such as urban private enterprises, other urban enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises, and private non-enterprise units accounted for 49.04%, an increase of 1.93 percentage points over the previous year.
