These measures must be implemented as of this Thursday and will concern several productions in the health and drug sector, in particular paracetamol. This "planning mechanism" will have an envelope of 200 million euros.  

Emmanuel Macron announced Tuesday the implementation on Thursday of measures to relocate certain productions in the health and drug sector, citing the example of paracetamol.

200 million euros to finance production infrastructure

At the end of a visit to the Sanofi site in Marcy-l'Etoile, in the Rhône, the President of the Republic also announced the establishment of a "planning mechanism" for French production in the field health, as well as an envelope of 200 million euros to finance production infrastructure.

Sanofi to invest in France

In addition, on the occasion of President Emmanuel Macron's visit to one of its factories in the Lyon region, the Sanofi group announced an investment of 610 million euros in France to bring a new vaccine factory out of the ground as well as a new development research center.
