According to Korean media reports, on June 16, the Korean Ministry of Unification confirmed that the North Korea-Korea Liaison Office in the Kaesong Industrial Park in North Korea was blasted.

The Korea-Korea Liaison Office was officially inaugurated in the Kaesong Industrial Park in North Korea in September 2018. The Korea-Korea exchange of staff is based in the joint office. This is regarded as the first permanent mechanism established by the DPRK and Korea for direct dialogue. In March 2019, after the DPRK-US summit in Hanoi, North Korea unilaterally withdrew from the Korea-DPRK joint office and then returned. Recently, affected by the anti-DPRK flyers on the border, the relations between the DPRK and the ROK have deteriorated.

The Korean Ministry of Unification said that at 14:49 local time on the 16th, the Korea-DPRK Joint Office was blasted.

According to the South Korean military, a loud noise occurred near the Kaicheng Industrial Park that afternoon, accompanied by heavy smoke. (Source of video footage edited by Lu Jie, a reporter from the South Korean Ministry of Defense)
