China News Agency, Nur-Sultan, June 16 Bishkek news: Kyrgyzstan Government Information Bureau announced on the 15th local time that Kyrgyz Prime Minister Abur Gaziev announced his resignation that day.

Abur Gaziev said that the current situation in Kyrgyzstan is complicated, and the country is responding to the threat of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic and its economic impact. The government should maintain a stable working state and get the full trust of citizens, but the uncertainty of the situation is disturbing the government's work, so he decided to step down as prime minister. He called on the government to carry out its work steadily, eliminate interference and give the people full confidence.

Abur Gaziev said in his resignation statement that he had nothing to do with the "sale of radio frequency case" and the charges against him were groundless. "I believe that the investigation will bring everything down and find the real offender."

According to reports, members of Kyrgyzstan’s parliament previously revealed that the Kyrgyz government had sold two radio frequencies at a price much lower than the market price, and this transaction could not be completed without Abu Gaziev’s permission. Abu Gaziev announced his temporary leave in late May in connection with the case. At present, the case is still under investigation.

Abur Gaziev is 52 years old and was appointed Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan in April 2018. (Finish)
