The General Command of Fujairah Police, represented in the Dibba Fujairah Police Department, managed to arrest a gang of (4) defendants who stole cash and jewelry from a citizen’s house in Dibba.


The details of the crime are due to the receipt of a report to the Dibba Fujairah Police Operations Room by a citizen stating that his house was stolen at noon on Friday during his absence from the house where he noticed the disappearance of an iron treasury containing cash and jewelry valued at half a million dirhams.


For his part, Colonel Saif Rashid Al-Zahmi, Director of Dibba Police Department, stated that upon receiving the report, a working group was formed to arrest the gang called the Al-Nahar gang, and through research and investigation the team was able to identify the perpetrators and it was found that the perpetrators moved as soon as their crime was committed to the Emirate of Ajman and in less than Hourly, the defendants were arrested in coordination with Ajman police, and the treasury with the loot was recovered.


And with the investigation of the accused, they confessed to carrying out the theft planning and home monitoring process in cooperation with the auxiliary worker, exploiting the absence of the family and carrying out the crime, and accordingly the defendants were referred to the Public Prosecution.
For his part, Major General Mohammed Ahmed bin Ghanem Al-Kaabi, Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, praised the professionalism of the police officers and their readiness to deal with such cases. He also praised the cooperation of the Ajman Police General Command in facilitating the arrest of the accused. He stated that the Fujairah Police will be a lookout for all those who begged to disturb and tamper with security.
