It was the residents, alerted by the gunfire, who gave the alert. On Monday, around 6:45 p.m., a man was seriously wounded by a gunshot in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, not far from the Porte de Clignancourt, police reports 20 Minutes . The bullet, which had lodged in the victim's side, miraculously spared the liver and the lungs. Urgently transported to the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital in Paris, his vital prognosis is not at risk.

On the spot, the police discovered a cartridge case, a knife and a tear gas can. Several witnesses said they saw three people flee aboard a Clio, one of them even managed to film the scene allowing the investigators to raise the license plate.

Handgun, magazine and hood found in the car

The vehicle was located less than a quarter of an hour later in the neighboring town of Bagnolet, in Seine-Saint-Denis. The officials arrested the three occupants of the car and discovered inside a handgun, an empty magazine and a hood in the back seat. The three people were taken into custody.

If the track of a settlement of accounts is privileged, the precise circumstances of the drama remain to be clarified.
