The gang of seven masked men fell into the hands of the Dubai police after they carried out about 41 crimes by 25 theft of groceries and stores in Dubai and about 16 crimes outside the emirate, and they were referred to the Public Prosecution and from there to the criminal court that started their trial, in the last communication recorded against them by a grocery owner in an area Al-Quoz was surprised to break its door and steal a safe and cash box from it.

A witness in the case, a salesman in the shop, said that he closed the groceries that he worked in in the Al-Quoz area at around twelve midnight, and left for his nearby residence, but at four in the morning, he remembered that he had forgotten his wallet with his car that he left in front of the store, so he went out to bring it, Upon his arrival, he was surprised by the broken grocery door, and discovered the seizure of an iron safe in addition to the accounting fund.

For his part, a witness from Dubai Police said that a report was received at dawn on the theft of a grocery in the Al Quoz area, so he moved to the site and discovered that the defendants broke the door lock, and seized items including an iron safe and an accounting box, and the cameras were reviewed but the thieves were masked, they committed the incident and fled.

He added that a research and investigation team had been set up, which in turn recruited the sources, until a suspect was identified and through him the remaining suspects were arrested, and it was found that they had committed about 25 similar incidents in Dubai, and 16 reports outside it and were referred to the Public Prosecution.

He pointed out that the defendants used the same criminal method in the implementation of all their crimes, as they monitor the targeted stores and take advantage of their lack of owners and then distribute the roles between monitoring and entering the store, then flee the stolen goods, pointing out that they all admitted their crimes and guided themselves to the location of the incident.
