According to him, recent months have brought “certain irritants” to Russian-Czech relations.

“We are sorry in this regard. Of course, we cannot remain indifferent and tolerant of unfriendly manifestations on the part of Prague, and each time we will respond adequately, ”he said.

As the Kremlin representative emphasized, Russia remains “interested in further establishing and maintaining good, partnership and mutually beneficial relations with the Czech Republic”.

“This is important, and this principle, it applies to all European states,” Peskov added.

He said that being interested in good relations with all countries, Russia will never "turn a blind eye to unfriendly manifestations."

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that two employees of the Czech Embassy in Moscow were declared persona non grata.

This decision was a response to the expulsion of two Russian diplomats from Prague in early June.
