"Following the passage of the Île-de-France in the green zone" announced Sunday evening by Emmanuel Macron and "in accordance with the opinion formulated by Valérie Pécresse, president of Île-de-France Mobilités", the prefect of the Ile-de-France region Michel Cadot "has decided to end the certification system in public transport" from Tuesday, announces the prefecture.

But wearing a mask will remain "compulsory". Failure to comply with the wearing of a mask is liable to a ticket of 135 euros. Employers are "encouraged to maintain teleworking activity when they can as well as the staggered arrival schedule to avoid excessive traffic," says the regional prefecture, and "users are invited to respect as far as possible the barrier gestures in transport ".

Restoring "freedom of movement in Île-de-France

Valérie Pécresse (Libres !, ex-LR) had asked Monday morning for the abolition of this employer certificate, which had been made compulsory at the time of deconfinement, in order to reduce the number of people in Ile-de-France transport during rush hour, maintain the rules distance and avoid the spread of Covid-19. This certificate was valid for any trip between 6.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m., then between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

With the greening of Île-de-France "now, the challenge of recovery is before us because we need to return to normal, especially in public transport", explained Valérie Pécresse on France 2 , wishing "that we give back the freedom to move around Île-de-France"
