  Zhao Lijian introduced that the meeting was hosted by the China-CEEC Cooperation Secretariat, the Croatian China-CEEC Cooperation and Coordination Mechanism for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, and sponsored by the SME Development Promotion Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, Cangzhou Municipal People’s Government, and China-China Sponsored by the Eastern European (Cangzhou) SME Cooperation Zone. The conference will launch an online service platform for SME cooperation between China and Central and Eastern Europe, and release information on SMEs participating in China and Central and Eastern Europe. More than 300 Chinese and foreign enterprises will also focus on "industry, industrial manufacturing", "trade and investment, agriculture" and "tourism" , Humanities Exchange", "Medical and Health" and other four sections for negotiation and docking.

  Zhao Lijian pointed out that at present, China's domestic epidemic prevention and control has achieved major strategic results, and the epidemic situation in Central and Eastern European countries has also been effectively controlled. Accelerating the resumption of production and production, and restoring the order of economic and social development have become the common goals of governments of all countries. For China and Central and Eastern European countries, SMEs are not only an important source for countries to maintain economic vitality, but also a "main force" to absorb employment, shouldering the livelihood needs of thousands of families. Affected by the global epidemic situation, the survival pressure of SMEs in various countries has become prominent, facing many challenges. Since the outbreak, the Chinese government has actively taken measures to provide strong support for promoting the development of Chinese SMEs in terms of expanding total demand and increasing financial support for market players.
