Winner of the derby against Betis during the resumption of the La Liga, Sevilla FC (3rd) did not manage to concede by conceding on the wire the 1-1 draw at Levante, at the opening of the 29th day Monday evening.

Facing the 12th in the championship, the Andalusians opened the scoring thanks to Luuk de Jong in the 46th minute. But the Valencia club pushed late in the game and ended up equalizing on an own goal against Diego Carlos (86th), after a hand fault by Sevillian goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik.

For Seville, which will welcome the leader Barcelona on Friday, it is a bad operation in the race for the Champions League. Julen Lopetegui's team retains its 3rd place with 51 points, but Real Sociedad (4th) and Getafe (5th) will have the opportunity to return to one and two points from the podium respectively.

The other game of the evening between Betis and Granada offered a mad final with three goals in five minutes and a meeting finally concluded at 2-2.

Long led 1-0 by the promoted and astonishing 8th, after a goal from Carlos Fernandez (29th), teammates Joaquin and Nabil Fekir equalized from a penalty spot by Sergio Canales in the 85th, then took the advantage by Cristian Tello at the 88th. But Roberto Soldado snatched the draw for Grenada in additional time (90 + 1).

With this draw conceded at home, Betis remains in 13th place, under the threat of Valladolid and Alavés, two points.
