15 June 2020An operation of the yellow flames has defeated a ring of the dense international drug network that runs from Puglia to Albania.A 48 year old from Lecce and two Albanian citizens aged 51 and 41 were arrested for detention, drug trafficking and resistance and are now in the Salento prison.
The arrests were made after the landing on the beach of Torre Chianca (Lecce) of a boat that was loaded onto a car and made to disappear in the Salento countryside. It was in a cottage that the military found 87 bags of marijuana and 6 sticks of hashish, for a total weight of almost 350 kilos in addition to the hull with double bottom. If placed on the market, the drug would have yielded over three million.
