The party will wait: Bayern Munich can be mathematically crowned champion of Germany on Tuesday evening if it wins in Bremen (8:30 p.m.), but the victory ceremonies and festivities will be reduced to the minimum, in order to respect the protection measures against the coronavirus.

- When will Bayern be declared champion? -

The German League (DFL), in its recovery regulations, provided that the champion and the relegated would not be officially proclaimed until after the 34th and last day. In theory, if the championship were to be definitively interrupted by the epidemic, the classification could be revised.

For this reason, the "Schale", the winner's trophy, will not be awarded until the end of the last match of the season, on Saturday 27. Bayern plays that day in Wolfsburg (3.30pm / 1.30pm GMT).

The risk of an interruption is now minimal, three days from the end, as Germany begins to return to normal life and the number of cases in the country has stabilized for a long time.

- What ceremony for the winner? -

The DFL will not reveal its project until the winner is known. But it is already certain that the ceremony will be minimalist and that the health rules in force in the championship will have to apply.

These rules provide that a maximum of 100 people are allowed to be in the "indoor area", the lawn and the sidelines. Concretely, this means that Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and the other Bayern leaders, who are accredited in the stands, will not be allowed to descend onto the pitch.

There will be, as since the resumption, neither supporters nor families of players.

- What about the traditional beer shower? -

The beer shower, Bayern Munich's most sacred tradition, will be a collateral victim of the coronavirus.

To respect the health protocol, this celebration has been prohibited by the DFL. "I would be happy if it did not take place this year," said coach Hansi Flick, who has never been watered in his career yet.

- What about the party on Munich's Marienplatz? -

The traditional presentation of the trophy to supporters from the balcony of the town hall on Marienplatz has been canceled in advance. "Respect for this tradition is unfortunately unimaginable" this year, said city mayor Dieter Reiter.

"But I'm sure we will find an appropriate way to honor them with the club, if they bring back the title," he added, without giving details.

- Can Bayern celebrate its family title? -

The team and the staff will have the right to party together, since all of them are regularly tested against the coronavirus and have lived in contact with each other for weeks.

If the leaders, including Karl-Heinz Rummenigge or former president Uli Hoeness want to be in the game, they must however have undergone two negative tests beforehand. However, there are no plans to invite families or relatives.

The team being qualified for the final of the Cup on July 4 (in Berlin against Leverkusen), it must at least until this date scrupulously respect the sanitary protocol.
