The police in Västmanland were given a different assignment on Monday morning. After a call just before eleven, the police patrol found a fox kid under a flower box at the plant department at ICA Maxi in Västerås.

Not the world's best place for a fox, police spokesman Tobias Ahlén notes, but announces that the kid was left after consulting with the staff.

- It can get in and out through a fence and thus come and go as it pleases, says Tobias Ahlén.

Broad assignment

According to Tobias Ahlén, it does not belong to the ordinary people with such assignments for the police, but reflects well how different assignments can look.

- A strange case for the police, I must say. Such a case reflects a little on what we do in a year. It's very broad, he says.
