Discuss in TPP participating countries to strengthen supply system for medical supplies June 15 19:57

Regarding measures to strengthen the supply system for medical supplies, Minister for Economic Rehabilitation Nishimura indicated that he would hold a telephone conference in the near future to discuss such matters with Australia participating in the TPP = Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement.

Nishimura, Minister of Economic Reconstruction, told a press conference yesterday, "There are parts that rely heavily on medical supplies overseas, including China. A framework that allows credible countries to exchange essential supplies such as medical supplies. Is also necessary."

He then indicated that he would soon hold a telephone conference with Australia, New Zealand and Vietnam, who are participating in the TPP = Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement, to discuss ways of cooperation.

Minister Nishimura also announced that he would set up a round-table conference with experts in international politics and economics and hold the first meeting on the 17th.

Professor Fumiaki Kubo of the University of Tokyo chaired the session, and Professor Yuichi Hosoya of Keio University and Ruri Miura, an international politician, are members of the committee. I would like to reflect the discussion in the policy, the so-called "bone policy".
