The official Israeli broadcasting organization (Kan) reported that Mossad chief Yossi Cohen will hold contacts in the coming days with heads and leaders of Arab countries - including Egypt and Jordan - in order to feel the pulse of these countries regarding Israel's plan to annex parts of the West Bank.

According to the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation, the communications also aim to listen to the positions of these countries and their response plans, as well as trying to reduce the severity of the expected responses in the event that Israel undertakes the implementation of the annexation plan.

The broadcasting organization stated that if necessary, the Mossad chief will conduct an external tour in the region, during which he will visit Arab countries for the same goal.

Egypt and Jordan have not commented yet on what was reported by the commission.

The channel noted that Cohen expresses more optimistic estimates about the reactions of the Arab countries and the response of the Palestinians regarding the confrontation plan.

On the other hand, the head of the General Intelligence Service (Shabak) and the chief of the army staff warned against the possibility of deteriorating security conditions due to the annexation.

Recently, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on more than one occasion that the Israeli government wants to start the annexation process, which will cover 30% of the West Bank area, on July 1.

And last month, the Palestinian leadership announced that the Palestine Liberation Organization was in the dissolution of agreements with Israel and the United States because of the annexation plan.
