The store, which is centrally located, has partly started to show its goods on the street and a large black chalkboard tells us that there are alternative ways to shop.

- Many of us have shortened the opening hours. I laid off my staff already in March, but working alone is not so fun, says Ida Eriksson, who hopes it will return within a year. She sees that the loss is about 30 percent. She sells gift items and decor items and she still sees that things are going better now than at the beginning of March when it was completely dead for a while.

- I can assume I'm losing for a while because I love this job, but hope it doesn't last too long, says Ida.

Got new customers

Around the corner is a fabric store. Following a process with the landlord, they have received reduced rent. The store has lost some, but they have also partly gained new customers.

- Because people work at home have also taken hold of some projects, they get to see things that need fixing, curtains and other things, says Anki Robertsson.

Many elderly people do not come

Work hours have also been corrected here. Every morning, staff make home visits to customers. Many older people no longer come to the store, but new customers are coming in.

- I think we have the advantage of being on the street. People can look in and see if there are some people in there before they go in, says Anki Robertsson.

She also sees a financial loss, but is positive and believes there is lessons for everyone after this spring and hears people express that they want to support local stores in town.
