June 14, 2020 At least seven Minneapolis police officers have quit the department since riots broke out over George Floyd's death on May 24. Six others are about to leave, according to reports from the Minneapolis Star Tribune, taken over by CNN.

"During this busy and busy period, I had secondary information about the fact that there were employees who warned their managers but did not complete the paperwork."

This is what the deputy head of the department, Henry Halvorson, would have written in an e-mail in which he indicates to the agents who want to quit the job within the police force, to contact the personnel office. "We have to complete the process to make sure we know who continues to work," he continued.
