At the waste center in Topinoja, Turku, about 1,700 cubic meters of construction waste burned on Sunday.
After half past seven in the evening, the emergency center facility said that the danger caused by the fire was over.
The fire, especially in the morning, produced a lot of smoke in the direction of Haliste and the city center, which is why the Emergency Response Center issued a danger message in the morning, urging residents to close the windows and ventilation.
A huge smoke statue rose from the fire at the Topinoja landfill in Turku.
