Note The listed activities in each municipality are only a selection. Additional activities can be arranged in your home municipality. Full information on exact times, places, possible art, pre-registration etc. can usually be accessed on the respective municipality's website. 

Askersund

Drama, crafts, cube games and ball sports. These are some of the activities organized by the municipality from week 25 to 30 for middle and high school children. The activities are held every weekday between 10-12 and 13-15.

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays they take place at Sjöängen in Askersund. On Tuesdays, the activity-minded children can get to either the Strandvallen in Hammar or the football pitch in Olshammar and on Thursdays to the leisure yard in Mariedamm or behind the kiosk in the Zink mine.

Degerfors

In previous years, the People's House in Degerfors had a summer vacation cinema one day a week. Due to current restrictions, this summer vacation cinema will be shown several days a week, provided there is an interest.

An exhibition on the children's book character Plupp will be displayed in the Art Hall of the People's House. In connection with the art hall, there will be the opportunity for the children to play. The library will also distribute Plupp books for those who cannot get enough of the little blue-haired figure from the mountains.

The cultural center mountain remains open, but the planned event has been canceled due to corona. However, there will be staff on site who, depending on interest, weather and wind, will arrange activities for the children and young people who visit the cultural center.

Hallsberg

For three weeks, Hallsberg Municipality will host a summer camp in Motorp. Week 25 gets it started for students in grade six. The following week, fours and fives from Långängen and Stocksätter are welcome. Week 27, there will be a team for fours and fives from Pålsboda, Hjortkvarn, Sköllersta, Vretstorp and Östansjö.

Starting on June 23, Hjortkvarn's youth farm will on a number of occasions arrange summer holiday activities for children and young people between 6 and 16. 

Hällefors

Between June 15 and August 17, a wealth of summer holiday activities for Hällefors children and young people are organized. All activities are free and organized by either the municipality itself, an association or a municipality and association in collaboration.

The activity program starts with, among other things, a swimming school at Sanger's bathing place between June 15 and June 18 for anyone between the ages of 5 and 16. On July 14-16, children between the ages of 9 and 16 can learn to code their own computer games or program a robot at the Hällefors library. However, the maximum number of children is limited to ten per day. To participate, you need to pre-register your interest in the library.

The summer holiday program ends on August 17 with children between 6 and 15 being allowed to test on painting in various techniques at Grythyttan's inn.   

Karlskoga

In Karlskoga, a number of summer holidays are organized in collaboration with the municipality and the local associations. For example, children between the ages of 6 and 12 can test athletics in the area around Nobel Stadium every week during week 25, 26 and 33. The activity, which is free of charge, is organized by Karlskoga athletics.

Between 22 and 25 June, Bofor's gymnastics association "Summercamp" organizes gymnastics at the Bredgårdsskolan. The activity is free of charge and can be attended by those born between 2002 and 2011.

Anyone who likes to read can read "Summer Book". The activity, which is organized by the Karlskoga Library, means that on a postcard you either answer questions or draw your experience of the book you have chosen. When the postcard is then handed in (between June 29 and September 1), a book is given as a gift.

Kumla

The extensive program of summer vacation activities in Kumla has been developed by the municipality, local associations and study organizations who wish to contribute to an eventful and active summer for the municipality's children and young people. A selection of activities is as follows: 

Children between 6 and 12 who like animals and nature can go exploring along the nature trails of the municipality. On each path there is a stamp that you search for with the help of clues. Once all, a total of seven stamps have been found, a prize is awarded. The exploration trip is free and is arranged by Kumla Municipality from June 10 to August 18.

On August 11, between the ages of 13 and 19, they can learn to cook outdoors in nature. The activity is organized by Young Leisure and requires a pre-registration.

Laxa

In the municipality of Laxå, a number of activities are organized during the first weeks of the summer holidays in and around the Allaktivitetshuset and with the Leisure Club as organizer. The following is a selection of activities:

On June 23, the "Summer Club" invites you for a bike excursion to Borasjön for children in grades four to seven. Once at the lake, there will be swimming, play and a light lunch.

At Laxå Library, children from nine years of age and up every Wednesday between 10 and 12 o'clock can come and play. Children under nine are also welcome, but then together with an adult.

At the library, children between the ages of 9 and 12 who like to read and write can also come to the "Summer Book" where you can, among other things, make your own book tip movies or just talk about books with other book lovers. The summer book meets for two hours on June 16, July 8 and August 7. However, you do not need to be present at all meetings. 

Lekeberg

In Lekeberg, the municipality organizes a series of free activities between weeks 24 and 34. For example, children and young people of all ages who like to puzzle from week 25 can visit the library to complete a puzzle consisting of a whole 1500 pieces. 

On August 12-14 children between the ages of 7 and 12 can attend a circus school in the sports hall at Hidinge school. The circus school is organized in collaboration with Camp Circus from Norrköping. 

Lindesberg

In Lindesberg, the municipality organizes summer holiday activities, including camps, for children and young people born between 2005 and 2014. Most activities are free.

June 22 to 26, an adventure camp will be organized in Kloten for children between the ages of 13 and 15. Camp days are filled with activities such as canoeing, archery and high altitude. Bus transport to the Kloten camp school is arranged from several locations in the municipality.

Weeks 26 to 28 are, like last year, "Summer fun" in Lindesberg's arena. The arena is then filled with, among other things, bouncy castles, obstacle courses, puzzles and competitions for children between 6 and 15.

Ljusnarsberg

In Ljusnarsberg, a number of summer holidays are organized under the municipality's own auspices and in cooperation with local associations. On June 16, the summer program will start with a "barbed-wire trait with a dog" on the light track in Kopparberg. The activity is free and you can choose to either test yourself or just watch. Dogs and equipment are on site!

On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 30 July, children between five and eight can attend dance school in Kyrkback School. At Kyrkbacksskolan, children from seven to eleven are invited to LAN on several occasions, including July 15. 

Nora

In Nora Municipality, Naturskolan will organize activities on Alntorp's island, Pershyttan and Gyttorp's school garden for seven weeks. The "Leisure Village" on Alntorp's island is open and it is possible to borrow sports and leisure equipment from the Leisure Bank. During week 25 to 30 activities will be organized in the area.

Since the municipality has allocated SEK 350,000 in grants to the association life to organize summer holiday activities, more activities than those already planned by the municipality can be added as grant applications are received and granted.

Orebro

In Örebro there is a well-stocked program of summer holidays activities for the municipality's children and young people to take part in. Most activities are free, including many activities in Hästhagen. Every day during week 25 to 33, for example, you will be able to climb a climbing wall, jump trampoline and run in large water balls. Between the activities, it will also be possible to cool off in Svartån as Hästhagen's new site is scheduled to be inaugurated at the end of June.

On June 22, families with children will be invited to a color party in Vivalla Park, as educators from the cultural school will be in place with paint, brushes and other materials that will transform the park into a colorful new world.

On July 19, it will be the cinema for the very youngest (two to five years) when the Little Ghost Lab appears on Bio Roxy on Olaigatan.
