Visits gradually authorized since April 20

"For our seniors in retirement homes or institutions, visits will now have to be authorized," he said in his fourth solemn address since the start of the coronavirus crisis. Visits to these establishments were prohibited from March 11, before the start of confinement, to curb the epidemic. They were gradually authorized from April 20, under very strict conditions.

An additional relaxation was decided in early June, allowing the visit of more than two people at a time and the possibility of bringing minors, provided they wear a mask. The Ministry of Health then indicated that "almost 45% of Ehpad still report at least one case of Covid-19".
