SVT News Uppsala can now reveal that three of Attendo's accommodations in Uppsala do not comply with the agreement that Attendo has signed with the municipality regarding staff density. According to the documents that SVT has come across, Attendo's existing staff schedules - on the current housing - do not follow the staffing plan originally agreed with the municipality. The documents show that all shifts are simply not filled correctly - and that there are no competent personnel in their places.

"Wrong Nursing"

According to anonymous employees at Attendo that SVT talked to, the staffing problem has been going on for two years.

- Everything is not carried out as promised. The risk is that there will be wrong food if someone is allergic. There will be wrong nursing. Medicine is often wrong. You get stressed. Many people are on sick leave, ”the employee tells SVT.

Uppsala Municipality admits in an e-mail to SVT that there were question marks regarding the staff density of the housing in question - deficiencies that arose during a follow-up to the agreement earlier this year. On the other hand, the municipality states that Attendo fulfills the basic requirements one has for the business, but that at the moment you are reviewing the contractual issue and how to proceed in the future.

"Have an ongoing dialogue"

Emelie Sköldulf is Head of Operations at Attendo Råbyvägen and responds by email:

“We follow the agreement and live up to the requirements. However, we have a dialogue with the Municipality of Uppsala regarding an incorrect leakage scheme that was sent in at the start of the business and is now awaiting approval, ” writes Emelie Sköldulf in the email.

In the video above you can hear how an anonymous employee experiences the situation, as well as how they mean that the situation risks going beyond the elderly.
