The Education and Human Resources Council, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Chairman of the Council, discussed an initiative aimed at giving children of workers in the health sector the opportunity to enroll in the Emirati school, as an appreciation of the efforts of this group.
During the meeting, the Minister of Education, Hussein bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi reviewed the "Hayyakam" initiative, which is to be launched soon, and comes within the framework of the official interaction with the "Thank you first line of defense" campaign launched by the leadership to express gratitude, thanks and appreciation for the efforts of teams, medical staff and health sector workers In the country, doctors, nurses, paramedics, administrators and technicians.
The Council also discussed the proposal of the Ministry of Education regarding the decision to establish nurseries and care rooms in the headquarters of government agencies.
The proposal specifies the minimum requirements for the establishment of a nursery or care room in the headquarters of the government agency, or its branches, and specifies licensing mechanisms and powers of evaluation and oversight of nurseries.
The discussion touched on the health precautionary measures that will be followed to ensure the implementation of the requirements for social separation and to preserve the safety of children and nursery workers, in line with the procedures of the Ministry of Health and the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management.
The decision provides support to government sector employees in the country to check on their children in early childhood. It also comes out of the concern of the UAE government for the woman’s role in society, taking into consideration her important role in the home and the family.

The Minister of Education, Hussein bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, reviewed the objectives and expected results of the “Inspired Teachers” initiative that the Ministry is working to launch soon, and it deals with various topics in the field of teaching and learning, distinguished educational practices, and pioneering educational experiences.
He explained that the initiative is available to everyone who has an educational idea of teachers working in the educational field, provided that they have made a clear difference in education, whether traditional or distance learning.
