According to monitoring, the tropical depression originally located in the eastern part of the South China Sea has been strengthened to the No. 2 typhoon Parrot (tropical storm level) at 20 o'clock on the 12th. The center at 20 o'clock is located at 17.1 degrees north latitude and 117.2 degrees east longitude. On the east side of the South China Sea, about 760 kilometers southeast of Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, the maximum wind force near the center is 8 (18 m/s).
