  According to the Otas News Agency, on the evening of the 12th local time, an explosion occurred at a liquefied natural gas distribution station in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, killing 1 person and injuring 3 people. The injured have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

  According to reports, the LNG distribution station has a total of 24 storage tanks, and one of the storage tanks with a content of 200 cubic meters had a fire and subsequently caused an explosion. The local fire department dispatched quickly and dispatched 199 firefighters and 58 firefighting vehicles to extinguish the storage tank that exploded and to cool other storage tanks in time to prevent the fire from spreading further. In addition, the explosion did not threaten nearby residential areas, and no toxic gas pollution was detected.
