The Xinfadi market closed during the night towards Saturday local time, after two employees at a meat research institute that recently visited the market were found infected during Friday.

In the past, the authorities have stopped trading of beef and lamb at the market and some other markets in the city have been closed.
More than 10,000 people at the Xinfadi market will be tested and schools that would have opened on Monday will continue to be closed due to the new cases.
