The Dubai Health Authority has stated that institutional isolation will be limited to its health isolation centers only, starting tomorrow (Monday).
In circulating its destination to the licensed health facilities, which are in charge of managing and operating the isolation hotels for the new Corona virus (Covid-19) in Dubai, she requested an inventory of patients currently in isolation hotels, in preparation for their transfer to their isolation centers.
It also asked the private health sector facilities concerned with the decision to coordinate with the health response team at the Control and Control Center to combat the emerging "Corona" virus, to transfer those infected with "Corona" to the health isolation centers operated by the authority.
She said that institutional isolation will be limited to infected cases, in the event of a danger to life. As for domestic isolation, it applies to stable cases that do not show symptoms, or cases whose symptoms are simple, according to the second version approved by the Control and Control Center to combat the Corona virus last. The center has set guidelines for patients undergoing isolation, beginning with adherence to the guidelines on the COVID19 DXB smart application, monitoring symptoms and continuously measuring temperature. And if the symptoms become serious (such as the presence of shortness or difficulty breathing, or high temperature), the patient must use the feature to report an emergency on the smart application, and he can also call the authority hotline (800342), or the number 997 to request an ambulance. Upon contact, the patient must report that he is a confirmed "Covid-19" condition, and that he is subject to domestic isolation.
