The promising 19-year-old England striker, who was arrested on May 17 and then released on bail, said on his Twitter account that he had "fully cooperated with the police" and quietly waited for "his acquittal."

"In this period of time when more important things happen in the world, I want you to know where the serious accusations that made me suspect," he wrote to his 287,000 followers.

"After a serious and deep investigation, the police confirmed to me that the file was closed without follow-up," he said, thanking all the people who "supported me during this difficult period."

Hudson Udoy has fully recovered after he was the first Premier League player to contract the emerging Corona virus in early March.
