Passed by all the emotions on Saturday, Benjamin Pavard scored against his camp then delivered a decisive pass on the goal of the victory of Bayern Munich against Borussia Mönchengladbach (2-1), during a happy meeting for another Blue, Lucas Hernandez, finally titular.

- Pavard misses out then redeems himself -

For Benjamin Pavard, the shock of the afternoon in the Bundesliga was not easy: he has long borne the burden of having equalized against his camp in favor of Mönchengladbach.

On a cross from the right, the French defender tackled to try to dismiss the ball but he unfortunately propelled it into the back of his own nets (37th), allowing Borussia to return to 1-1.

A draw would not have worked for Bayern, which was close to winning an eighth consecutive championship title. But Pavard did not give up, he tirelessly continued his climbs on the right flank and it was he who, after a nice call in the back of the defense, was able to serve Leon Goretzka for the goal of 2- 1.

The world champion was able to exult: with this success, the Bavarians are only one victory away from the title, which they could win Tuesday in Bremen.

- Hernandez takes advantage of the rotation -

Most expensive rookie in Bayern's history (80 M EUR), Lucas Hernandez had only crumbs of playing time to chew since the resumption of the Bundesliga in mid-May, barred by the emergence by Alphonso Davies.

But since the 19-year-old Canadian phenomenon was left to rest at kick-off, the French defender was finally established as left-back, playing just over an hour of play.

Admittedly, his lack of rhythm has often been glaring and the goal of equalization comes from his left side. But the former side of Atlético Madrid also did some nice things, such as when he had a burning opportunity against the opposing goalkeeper (22nd) or sent a perfect center for the head off of his compatriot Michaël Cuisance (39th ).

- Spare coman, Cuisance benefits -

Cuisance titular, it was the surprise concocted by coach Hansi Flick Saturday: at 20, the midfielder won his first tenure with Bayern, at the expense of his compatriot Kingsley Coman, spared and substitute at kick-off .

Cuisance has not been unworthy of his former club Mönchengladbach, being dangerous without managing to frame (11th, 39th). It is also his good pressing which led to the poor recovery of the goalkeeper on the opening of the Bavarian score (26th), even if he lost the ball which brought the equalization opponent (37th).

As for Coman, tenured four times in the league and once in the cup since the recovery in mid-May, he only came into play in the 62nd minute. As usual, he provoked a lot in one-on-one, without managing to tip the game.

- Thuram comes out injured, without showing himself -

Marcus Thuram, one of the Bundesliga revelations this season, was probably hoping to face Bayern. But Lilian Thuram's son saw his ankle twist and his match ended.

The international French Espoirs hurt itself on its own, collapsing after a change of support. Tended on the lawn, the center-center tried to continue but he had to leave the field from the 10th minute of play.

A heavy blow for the striker (22), author of ten goals and eight assists this season, and a big setback for Mönchengladbach, who lost big in the battle for a qualifying place for the Champions League.
