Today's demonstration, in the wake of George Floyd's death in the US, has been denied permission by police on the grounds that organizers have not done enough to limit the number of participants to a maximum of 50 people - which the National Health Authority's corona restrictions impose.
However, the police take into account that people are expected to defy the decision and gather for the planned manifestation.
- We know that people will show up so we will be there. We will probably dissolve it as well because it is an unauthorized demonstration, says Per Engström, national commander in chief of the police, to DN.
Recently, manifestations have been carried out despite the fact that more than 50 people participated and in both Stockholm and Gothenburg it became messy.
