Bayern Munich got into position to validate their eighth consecutive title of champion of Germany as of Tuesday, by beating Saturday Borussia Mönchengladbach 2-1, at home and behind closed doors, coronavirus obliges.

With seven points ahead of his dolphin Dortmund, the "Rekordmeister" will win the "Schale", the champion's trophy, if he wins Tuesday (8:30 pm) in Bremen, the penultimate and relegatable.

The young Dutchman Joshua Zirkzee, who replaced Robert Lewandowski suspended, scored for Bayern (26th), and Benjamin Pavard against his side tied for Mönchengladbach (37th).

But the French redeemed himself by offering the end of the game the victory goal to Leon Goretzka, from a perfectly balanced center (2-1, 86th).

Dortmund won 1-0 in Düsseldorf in the 5th minute of extra time with a goal from the head of their 19-year-old Norwegian prodigy striker Erling Haaland.
