In April all Swedes would start but the coronavirus outbreak stopped the premiere. For Besard Sabovic who moved to Sölvesborg from Stockholm, after his contract with Djurgården expired, it was a big disappointment.

"You felt you were in good shape and just wanted to start," says Besard Sabovic, midfielder.

"Been boring"

For several weeks now players have been training without knowing if or when the Allsvenskan could start.

- It has been a bit tedious to just train but not know what you are training for because you did not know when the Swedish Swede would start, says Besard Sabovic.

Ready despite the uncertainty

Despite the break, the uncertainty and the fact that there will be no training matches, the team feels ready for the season.

- We have been running for months now so it is clear that we are ready. I think we are well prepared for our tasks coming here now, ”says David Löfquist, the team captain.
