The Ministry of Community Development is conducting an electronic questionnaire to measure the "effect of the emerging corona virus (COFED-19) on Emirati society", which aims to identify the impact of this pandemic socially on the various individuals and groups of society, and highlight the challenges facing society and the mechanisms for dealing with it, leading to Re-engineering some of the initiatives and services that the Ministry provides to society, in a manner that is compatible with the social situation in the country.

The Ministry was keen to include the largest possible segment in the questionnaire, after it was circulated to all employees of the federal government through the "Bayanati" platform in the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.

The Ministry provides the electronic questionnaire in Arabic and English, and it measures in 51 questions a set of facts, variables and social behaviors in the current circumstances, which includes the educational level, profession, number of family members, children in the family, and children in school or university, in addition to senior citizens in The family.

The questionnaire tries to identify what a new Corona virus (Covid 19) is from a community point of view, if it has information about the virus, the extent of its spread and the extent of infection, and if a family member, auxiliary groups, relatives, friends, or coworkers have contracted it.

The questionnaire also measures the degree of satisfaction of community members with the implementation of media and awareness campaigns through the media and social communication, the application of the spacing system, the regulation of the movement of individuals, the closure of places of entertainment and work, in addition to remote work for employees in the public and private sectors, and distance learning for students of schools and universities.

The questionnaire identifies personal precautions to prevent the virus, such as constantly cleaning and sterilizing hands, wearing masks, leaving a safe distance, not being in crowded places, not leaving the house except for necessity and following precautions, and not being present in gatherings.

It also touches on the positive effects of the initiatives and programs launched by the UAE to confront "Covid 19", which includes protecting individuals from HIV infection, ensuring family cohesion, social cohesion, and rationalizing consumption.

In the field of providing assistance to affected groups and the challenges facing society, the online questionnaire asks about the extent of the harm suffered by the individual, compensation for the affected groups, and support for MSMEs.
