FIFA, through the official World Cup account on Twitter, celebrated the 30th anniversary of the goal that the Egyptian team tied with its Dutch counterpart in the 1990 World Cup in Italy.

Magdi Abdel Ghani scored the goal against goalkeeper Van Brooklyn, with a penalty awarded by the referee as a result of Pharaohs striker Hossam Hassan catching Egypt 1-1.

The goal is historically because it was the first goal scored by Egypt in the World Cup after the first participation in 1934, as it achieved a valuable tie with the star-studded team, and Abdel Ghani's only goal was the World Cup in which the Pharaohs came out of the first round.

The FIFA World Cup account commented on the tweet with a famous statement by goal owner Abdel-Ghani saying, "This goal achieved a draw for us as a team, but it personally brought me history."

This goal remained a funny material for the banter between the Egyptians as a result of Abdel-Ghani's keenness to remind the football fans of him on an occasion and inappropriate occasion through his work commenting on the matches or his TV programs, to the point that the audience wished that any player in the World Cup would register in the future until Abdel-Ghani ceased to be proud.
