In one year, a dozen facts have been identified. A man in his fifties was sentenced to 18 months in prison, Thursday in Saint-Nazaire, for multiple burglaries in fire stations in Loire-Atlantique.

According to the gendarmerie, the man had in particular targeted the Saint-Brévin fire and rescue center: between January 2019 and February 2020, he had entered it four times to steal money. Similar events were also reported in the barracks of Pornichet, Saint-Lyphard, Le Pouliguen and Le Croisic, where four vehicles (liaison cars) were stolen, then found in Saint-Nazaire…

Arrested Tuesday, the man is "known for similar acts", and for his "very busy judicial past", report the gendarmes. He admitted the facts and was imprisoned at the Vannes prison.
