On Friday, the announcement came that the Licensing Board did not grant Karlskrona HK's elite license. The club is thus moved down from the hockeyall Swede.

- It is a sad decision to decide that we should be kicked out of the hockey general Swan, but at the same time it was expected, says Tobias Larsson, chairman of Karlskrona HK.

However, he had hoped for a dialogue with the board before the decision was made.

- I was expecting some kind of dialogue. They know what process we are and I thought it would be a dialogue about complementing information. But we continue to work on what we can do, says Tobias Larsson.

Will appeal

Karlskrona HK continues to work on the new restructuring plan which the club hopes will go through and will then appeal against the Licensing Board's decision.

- Our work is still focused on lowering our debt burden in order to have a sustainable future, says Tobias Larsson.

You haven't given up hope of playing in the hockeyall Swede next season?

- No, we are struggling with that.
