The day before, the head of the Russian Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, assessed the situation with coronavirus in the country. According to him, according to the department’s estimates, the situation in 21 constituent entities of the Federation is quite calm, but in other regions the “epidemiological process is ongoing”.

Speaking about the regions with the most favorable conditions on the air of the Russia 1 television channel, he singled out the Tyumen region. Also, according to him, "Moscow gives a good result in reducing hospitalization, in the number of cases."

“But at the same time, we say that maintaining the rules of hygiene, the rules of restrictions that are recommended to the population, is simply necessary,” Murashko emphasized.

The minister also said that if necessary, a “floating restriction regime” could be introduced in Russia to counter the spread of COVID-19. He explained that with this format various modes can be applied, up to strict quarantine.

Answering a clarifying question, is it possible in Russia to have a format in which the introduction and abolition of quarantine will alternate, Murashko answered in the affirmative.

In addition, the head of the Ministry of Health did not rule out that in the future, repeated deliveries of the infection from epidemically unfavorable regions and climatic factors could worsen the situation with COVID-19 in Russia.

In turn, scientists from the Russian Chemical-Technological University named after Mendeleev predicted the period of the possible end of the coronavirus epidemic in Russia. According to experts, this can happen at the end of July 2020.

At the same time, experts do not exclude the occurrence of new short waves of morbidity. In this regard, scientists are urging precautions.

Recall, on June 9, in Moscow, the mandatory self-isolation of citizens was canceled and the access regime was lifted, including for residents of the capital over 65 and citizens suffering from chronic diseases. At the same time, the glove-mask regimen was kept in the city for being in crowded places.

In an interview with RT, Honored Doctor of Russia, Doctor of Medical Sciences, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science Gennady Onishchenko noted that older people and people at risk for COVID-19 in Moscow should leave the restrictive regime “with caution” and observing safety precautions .

He recalled that in different regions of Russia has developed its own epidemiological situation, and where the situation is still under strict control, even walks in the fresh air should be avoided. The doctor noted that a sharp exit from the regime of self-isolation of most citizens without observing the necessary measures during the weekend can worsen the epidemiological situation.

“The main thing that you still need to pay attention to is personal protective equipment. Therefore, of course, older people and the so-called risk group need to observe precautions. They should get involved in this process carefully and with caution both from the point of view of physical activity and from the point of view of exposure to the sun, ”he said.

We add that earlier the mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, called on citizens to stay at home on the June holidays.

“I would not recommend going anywhere on these holidays, so far we have banned public events. Yes, official events will be held on the 12th and on the day of the parade. But it’s better to watch it on TV. There should be no extras, spectators there, ”Sobyanin emphasized.
