The Minister of Education, Hussein Al-Hammadi, stated that the Ministry considers non-application of monitoring on the end-of-year exams using cameras, stressing that the Ministry has a careful monitoring system and follow-up to students ’performance in exams, remotely, to prevent cheating cases from occurring.

He said in media statements, the day before yesterday, that education and education is a joint process between the parents and the school, whether it is distance education or education in schools, and certainly the student's guardian is an example for his children at home, just as the teacher is an example for his students in school, and role models must enjoy the values Which is known as practice, and on this basis the children of the Emirates were raised.

Al-Hammadi added: “There may be a small number of parents of students who help (cheat) their children in the tests, and this is an unhealthy phenomenon, and far from our morals and values in the UAE, so the ministry has a system of monitoring and follow-up to the process of performing remote exams, including that all A student enrolled in the Ministry’s systems, and his skills, abilities and capabilities are known, and then the Ministry takes random proportions of students who have achieved high marks that are more than generally accepted from their real levels, and direct meetings are held for them with teachers, where these students are tested and asked directly to make sure that they are Those who answered the exam questions, and no one helped them. ”

He pointed out that there are other methods of monitoring that are more advanced, including camera operation and monitoring, but the Ministry considers that monitoring should not be applied to students using cameras or other systems, taking into account the circumstances experienced by families, so that the idea does not face a negative response from students ’parents and not accepting it. Perhaps these methods may be applied in the future, with increased awareness and training about the mechanism of their use, stressing that the result of student fraud will harm him more than it benefits them.

Al-Hammadi stated that «when the Ministry evaluates students, it follows several procedures for calibrating grades, reviewing the first semester grades, and checking at some levels of students, and therefore suspicion of specific degrees for the student will prompt us to conduct a direct interview with him, to make sure whether he answered the exam questions alone and not There are those who helped him in this ».

He stressed the need for everyone to be aware, especially families, that the goal of education is to develop the skills of students and not grades, because the degree is a number, but the skill that the student acquires remains with him for life, and the best example of this is that there are students in universities who get a score of 100% or 99%, But they were not successful in working life, because they were focusing on the textbook, and they had no knowledge, experiences or other readings.

Al Hammadi continued: “We are looking for a comprehensive citizen student, who has multiple characteristics and characteristics, and we are seeking to develop them, whether through school or through activities, skills, events, meetings and competitions, and the country has made great strides in providing several tools to develop students’ skills and capabilities. ”

He stressed that the distance learning experience is the result of years of work and support from the leadership, which contributed to the uniqueness and excellence of this experience at the region level, pointing out that distance learning is the result of a sustainable vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister The ruler of Dubai, who directed the necessity of a smart transformation of education, and this educational system was previously applied in a limited manner, and today, due to the current circumstance, it has become a pillar of learning.

Al-Hammadi stressed that “education is a priority, and we do not allow the student to lose a school day, so distance learning has been applied, learning is a cumulative issue, and removing days of schooling affects the level of students, and the continuation of learning is a foregone conclusion.”

Create the field

Hussein Al Hammadi, the Minister of Education, said, “The health condition we are going through despite its disadvantages is that it has shortened years of preparation and preparation of the field, and now great strides have been made in the application of smart learning through training, the readiness of digital platforms, and the cooperation of the school and the student and his parent.”

He stressed that education is a participatory process between the home and the school, students are faithful, and parents are role models, and they should help students learn transparently without affecting the course of the student’s tasks, and there is a supervisory role for the ministry on the educational attainment of students.

He emphasized that "the aim of education is to develop skills and capabilities and not obtain degrees, because what remains with the student for life is the knowledge stock and the skills acquired."
