“We hope that, having received Yaroshenko’s health information, a complete set, we can make a strong argument for including Konstantin in the class of vulnerable prisoners in Danberry who are to be released by decision of a federal judge,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Tarasov said that after preparing a set of medical documents, Yaroshenko will be included in a class action lawsuit filed by American human rights organizations in the Connecticut federal court against the head of the Danberry prison.

Earlier, the Russian Embassy in Washington sent a note to the US State Department with a request to provide medical assistance to Yaroshenko.

According to the diplomatic mission, the administration of the Danbury prison without giving any reason refuses Yaroshenko to receive dental treatment and necessary medications, and also ignores the prisoner's complaints and letters from the embassy.
