It was in December last year that a 19-year-old man was stabbed to death in central Boden when he got off the bus after school. The murder took place in the middle of the day outside the train station in Boden. Many saw the incident and during the murder investigation a large number of witnesses were heard.

Four men were indicted

In May, three men were arrested on suspicion of stabbing the 19-year-old man to death. One of the men was charged with murder, two for murder or serious assault and a fourth for assisting in serious assault.

Today, the final pleadings were held in the trial. The prosecutor is serving 14 years in prison for murder and then expulsion for one of the accused men. The prosecutor calls the act "a clean execution". The 19-year-old was stabbed with eight stab wounds to the chest.

The prosecutor is calling for various penalties

For two of the men, the prosecutor is asking for imprisonment for assisting in murder as they have held the victim for 10-12 years and 8-9 years respectively.

The prosecutor also opens that the court may instead consider six years in prison for assisting in the murder as the men were not aware that the man would be murdered when they went to the scene, but thought they would be involved in an abuse.

The Prosecutor also wants the fourth suspected person to be sentenced for assisting but for guardianship. His youth mitigates the punishment.
